Rainmeter Tutorial: Managing Themes

Making/Saving A Theme:

The “making” is the hardest part, for me anyway *coughperfectionistcough*. So yeah. Making/working on a theme kinda means to customize your desktop with your chosen wallpaper and Rainmeter skins. Once that’s done you can save your “current theme” just incase you messed up your skins’ arrangement, changed your theme and didn’t like it, missed your “current one” and you want it back so badly that you wanna suck the bone marrows out of someone, etc.

To save a theme, Right-click a RM skin > Themes > Manage Themes.

like so. :)

Then the RainThemes window will appear.

All that’s left to do is (♪ Just be Friends♪/shot LOL) to Check “Save wallpaper with theme” > Input a name of your current theme and > Click SAVE.

To Load Previously Saved Themes:

You might have noticed that you have default themes installed (Gnometer, Enigma, Rainmeter Test Theme), you could load those too. But what you really wanna load is the ones you’ve personally made right? It’s really easy actually. All you gotta do is (♪ Just be Friends♪/shotshotshotshot LOL) Right Click on A RM skin > Themes >Select a desired theme > Wait for the theme to load > STOP AND STARE. Easy right?

Hope this was helpful. :)

  3. Hey I know this is off topic but I was wondering if you knew of any widgets I could
add to my blog that automatically tweet my newest twitter updates.
I’ve been looking for a plug-in like this for quite some time and was hoping maybe you would have some experience with something like this. Please let me know if you run into anything. I truly enjoy reading your blog and I look forward to your new updates.

    • If you’re using WP as your blog domain, there’s a twitter widget that you can add to your sidebars. If you’re using some other domain, twitter actually has a widget — you can install it via HTML.

  4. what version of rainmeter are you using ? because there’s no “manage” in my ‘theme’ . i can only see ‘backup’ and ‘illustro’
