Hullo. So by daddeh xcyz’s orders, I’m giving you a little bit of info about several programs cluttering my current desktop (besides the usual RocketDock -top left, obscured by Miku and Kaito hanging upside down- and Rainmeter).
The first one is the FLELE music player program which is pretty much like any other music player except for the fact that it takes the shape of a downloadable ‘Shell’ usually in the form of a cartoon/anime’ character. I happen to be using Len Kagamine at the moment… Although I tend to switch to Ciel Phantomhive or Haine Rammsteiner every now and then. A typical FLELE Shell blinks, smiles, or sings (your playlist) but its actions depend entirely on the creator’s programming/illustrations. You can also change the costume of your Shell if you want to (depends if the creator provided any to choose from).
The Shimeji desktop mascot is virtually useless. Basically, it’s just there to be cute. It is amusing to watch it multiply though… but the downside is that when it’s cloned too much, your PC tends to slow down. Not to mention the fact that it’s hell of a lot more difficult to navigate around your workspace with all those critters walking/sitting/crawling/climbing/falling around your monitor. Common Shimeji mascots include characters from Vocaloid and Hetalia, but there are also a few DRRR!! characters around.
FLELE and Shimeji are both Google-able. The menus and installation instructions are in Japanese though, so it’s recommended that you look up a tutorial on Youtube first.
Good luck and have fuuuun~
