Rainmeter: Kagamine Len + iTunes plugin

Based on Kazasou’s Hatsune Miku4 Rainmeter

Requested by Green. My inner shotacon self can’t help but to go kyaaaaa every few seconds while doing this skin. You guys may have noticed something different about this skin. Yes, we are accepting skin requests with iTunes (At least I do xD). Before this, all our skins are only for Winamp. So I have a question. Do you want me to include a skin for iTunes for every skin I post? Or I should just wait for someone to request for an iTunes skin, then only I include in it? I need some feedback on this. :D

For the iTunes skin, according to Souza a.k.a Kazasou, you have to manually click the speech bubble for the song name to appear. The name does not appear automatically when you play it with iTunes unlike Winamp.

Also, see that speech bubble there? It says onee-chan right? Well, that’s because I’m a girl! So if you’re a guy, you can change it to onii-chan by following these simple steps.

  • Right click the skin
  • Select skin menu > Edit skin (The .ini file will open)
  • Press ctrl + f
  • Type in Message3b into the search box (without any spaces)
  • Change onee-chan to onii-chan
  • Search MessageWa2 (and again, no spaces)
  • Change onee-chan to onii-chan again.
  • Press ctrl + s to save
  • Voila, your gender is now reversed! \o/
Drop a comment if there’s any problem. Oh yes, the Winamp plugin is included in this skin as well, so don’t you worry Winamp users.
You know, I am sweating while I’m typing this. The weather is sooooo hot here. Now, I shall hibernate in my room with the air-con switched on at full blast.
Enjoy~

    • Haha. No problem. I had fun working with Len. He is and will always be my favourite Vocaloid! *^*

      • Oh, I mean like how in your thumbnail it says “[VOiCE - Lovely P Feat. Kettaro]”

        In mine it would say “–[VOiCE - Lovely P Feat. Kettaro]]”

        But it’s all good I found it!

        Under [WaTitle], Prefix=”ー”
        Postfix=”]”

        I just removed the “ー” and “]”.

        Thanks for making this skin again!

  1. That’s odd. I checked my .ini file and apparently I can’t find the “-” in my prefix. Hmm..

    Anyways, under WaTitle, it should be:
    AntiAlias=1
    ClipString=1
    Prefix=”["
    Postfix="]”
    Hidden=1

    And no problem Green, it was my pleasure skinning Len. xD

  2. Hi! I just downloaded this and rainmaker. Now, I’ve been trying all day to get this skin to work, but it doesn’t seem to be recognizing it at all. I’ve tried a few different sites with tutorials (including the one you liked to here) and it’s just not working.

    This is what I’ve been doing, maybe you can see something wrong with what I’m doing;

    Download the file.
    Extract to Rainmaker skin’s folder (same place you find the default one)
    and it gets pasted as it’s own folder.
    Then, I go into the start menu,
    right click and go into properties,
    that opened I went to open file location
    I went to default > skins > and then found the folder but it doesn’t seem to recognise anything in the folder.
    I’ve tried a couple of other things…. but they don’t seem to work.

    Am I missing something perhaps? I just don’t know what to do.

      • It was the whole skin, like the contents of the folder, but don’t worry. I just fixed it ^-^ I just extracted the skin into the wrong folder destination.
        It’s working now though, it was my mistake. Thank you for the quick reply, though.

      • I will ^-^
        and thank you for making such an adorable skin!
        I absolutely adore it <3

    • Hey. Yes, it works on Mac but you have to download an application called rainmeter first. Click on the rainmeter tab on the top of this page for more infomation :)

      • How do you get the mac file? I looked around and everything says that It only works on windows. I might be missing something.

      • What do you mean mac file? I’m not sure whether there is a separate rainmeter download for windows and mac but once you’ve downloaded rainmeter then the skin files work on both windows and mac.
