* You guys can submit your application by posting a comment on this post with screenshots or the actual files (download links) of your works.
* Most of us in TheProject have a set of guidelines when doing our work:
- Color Combination/Coordination – We’re very particular when it comes to this. Make sure your colors go well with each other.
- High Quality Base Images – Self-explanatory.
- SYMMETRY - This is very important. Base image shouldn’t be too broad/long/narrow/short in terms of appearance. You should be a master of holding down Shift + Alt while resizing an image in Adobe Photoshop.
- Badass and Moe – Oh you know what I’m talking about.
For the “Neither” — I mean, for the bloggers who just wanna write about anything anime-game-related:
* Tell us what you can offer/write about by leaving a comment. That simple.

I don’t have any skill in skinning or coding, but I would like to write. I can write reviews, post music and wallpapers I think are cool, and contribute to any places the blog might be lacking. I have created some Google Chrome Themes, here are the links:

Your google chrome themes are good, but they could use some work. Like your Senjougahara theme, the fonts in the inactive tab are in black, which make them invisible with the dark image background. And about the Lucky Star Theme, your background image is too small for the average screen resolutions. Images must at least be around 1200 x 800 or something close to that.
You might wanna consider recoding your themes and consider your image sizes
Overall, I like the creativity you showed in your works! Great job.
I am also completely willing to learn how to skin and make better themes. It is definitely something I would like to learn.

Coding is actually easier than it looks. Most of our authors literally just copy & paste most codes into the .ini files then > modify > save. That simple. No biggie. You can actually get used to coding in less than a day. Take it from Midorin, Aki and Reki.
In skinning (OUR genre of) rainmeters, you need to be at least “Project Tier” good with making layouts anddealing with base images with Adobe Photoshop. I’m sorry to tell you this but judging from your submitted work, you don’t have that skill yet. .(emphasis on “yet”)
Allow me to be a friendly critic to your work.
* Base image is nice — well, you have a good taste for images, I can tell you that.
* Your boxes are opaque — not always a bad thing, but it’s a bad move for this kind of work.
* One of the boxes is too big.
* Outer glow is too much.
* Overall, imma give you a score of 4/10.
Again, I apologize. But hey, there’s always room for improvement. You already know how to use PS, so i’m pretty sure you can practice some more. If you wanna try applying for “skinner” again someday, then be my guest.
And oh yeah, if ya wanna be a writer instead, then I’ll be more than glad to send ya an invite. How about it? :3

Guidelines, eh? I don’t really give writers guidelines except for the following few (which are sorta. . .common but oh well):
* Keep everything PG 13
* Just write about something. An anime/song review perhaps? Your call.
I’d like to apply to be a writer as well, I’ve been an anime fan for most of my life, and have been customizing my computers for about a year now, i don’t know that much about coding except for changing minor things like colors, fonts, etc. but i do know quite a bit about programs and I’m learning about open source stuff like linux.
Well okay. . What can you offer us then? I’d like to know what exactly are you gonna write/make for us before I send you the invite.

I want to mostly write about anime and about any cool programs i find on the internet that could be used for windows customization.

Okay, critic time.
I’ll be brutally honest here and I hope you wont hate me for this.
First of all, I think you need a better taste for images — go look for better images to turn into meters. Most of the ones you picked aren’t really good enough.
Next, I think you need to work on your photoshop skills. There are tutorials everywhere in the internet, the best thing you could do is to try to improve those skills of yours — and when you do manage to do that, work on your creativity, every skinner needs it, especially if you want to be original.
Overall, you dude, hazzz got some loads of work to do if you wanna join the blog. Though do feel free to try applying again when you get better in the future.

Hmm… Interesting. But too small, I say. You need to check your orb scale.
Depending on the symbol, it should be at 40px height at least.
Still, you need more training.

Hi there! I was wondering if I can be a part of this blog (if you guys are still recruiting). I know how to make Google Chrome Themes. I also know how to modify Rainmeter skins and WinAmps skins. By modifying, I mean borrowing concepts from other rainmeter/winamp skins and creating my own because I’m not really good at creating my own concepts yet. Here are some my of works.

Tbh, I can see that you’re pretty capable of doing Chrome, Rainmeters and Winamp skins and that’s an awesome thing. Though, if there’s something you should work on, it should be on your taste for images, no offense. There’s a ton of really nice images in the internet that you can use and you can do better stuff with better images (some basic principles that i obviously made up for myself. lol).
I am sorry to disappoint you but I cannot accept your application at this point in time. If you’re still eager tho, you can still try submitting more samples — hopefully something a bit more impressive. And if you do manage to pull something off, I’d be more than willing to send you that author invite.

I can write a bunch of reviews of anime/manga/games here and there, and I make skins for Yaplog!, shells for FLELE and draw. I do know how to make Blogger skins, but I don’t use them – WordPress is a smoother experience.
Sadly I have absolutely no experience whatsoever in making Chrome/Rainmeter/Winamp skins even though I use the programs. Would like to learn, though~

i also tried with editing some of the things you post here to use personally, like the miku corner calendars, though its just simple stuff, copied the coding, changed the colours in to rainbows 0_0 and changed the picture. i would love to learn how to make google chrome themes, and i also am good with dealing with system animator, if you are familiar with it.
