W7 Start Orbs

Welcome to the Windows 7 Start Orb Project! Here we create Start Orbs for you!

Currently, only Paiseh who’s responsible for this project for the time being. The Orbs will be hosted via DeviantART and Puush (Starting 16th December 2011).

Request is open for all!

Rules for requesting :
1 – Good quality icon image. Bad quality kills the image when shrinked.
2 – .png, .jpg, .bmp or .gif only. Others might re-consider if it’s good.
3 – Clean pictures. Paiseh don’t want some odd images like sexual-related, or etc. He’ll let requester know if it’s bad.
4 – Since this is TheBlackListProject, only request Anime-related at here. Off-topic orb request can ask him for it.

Request Update : I think I should give some guidelines to request it. (Kinda self-explanatory here..) Take note that there are no ETA for your request since I might be busy or lazy. I’ll do it when my mind ready for it. So patience.

How to install the Orbs?

NOTE : Step 1-2 is optional. In case if the Orbs remain unchanged, please do Step 1-2.

Step 1 – Download Universal Theme Patcher - Link
NOTE : If you already have it and patched it, skip to Step 3.

Step 2 – Extract it and open the patcher. Follow the instructions, patch it and restart your computer.
NOTE : If your Windows 7 is x86, open the x86 one. If your Windows 7 is x64, open the x64 one.

Step 3 – Download Windows 7 Start Orb Changer by Kishan-Bagaria

Step 4 – Run the tool as administrator.

Step 5 – Click Change.

Step 6 – Select the start orb where ever you save it and click Open.
Note : The orb must be in either .png or .bmp format. (I suggest you guys use .bmp)

Step 7 – The Windows Explorer will now restart automatically and you will be able to see the confirmation of the new start orb/button which you chose. Click OK.
