About WinAmp (from winamp.com):
What is Winamp?
It’s how you listen, watch and manage music, video, podcasts and internet radio on your desktop and devices. Winamp is for people who like to customize, tinker and tweak: offering the widest range of extensions, skins, and services to add to your experience.
Why use a Winamp Skin?
Well all know that playing music is great and all.. It helps set the mood just right for whatever your doing.. Whether in play, in work or just enjoying a feast for the ears.. Music is one of the best ways to get things pumpin..
With all that said.. Why use a skin you ask.?
Yes, listening to music with Winamp is a great experience… But why do we have to stop with just that? Why not make listening with your Winamp not only a feast for the ears but also a feast for the eyes.. That’s where the skins come in.. They provide the necessary visual style that adds all the “BADASS and MOE” that you could possibly need to fully enjoy your Winamp experience…

Importing Skins (by kazasou)
To use the skins that are posted in this blog, firstly you have to extract the RAR file that you have downloaded from my blog (Just right click on the RAR file and choose “Extract Here”). If you do’t know how to extract RAR file or you don’t have the application to extract RAR file, just download one of these programs: peazip winrar 7zip
Now, you have to copy the extracted folder to your Winamp skin archive. If you use the default installation, it will be located in C:\Program Files\Winamp\Skins. If you have found your Winamp skin archive, copy the extracted folder to the skin archive and your skin is now the skin you’ve extracted is ready to be used. Enjoy!
===========
I am currently TRYING studying this stuff and have figured-out about 80% of how things work.. Even tho that’s the case I’ll still try and make skins for people to enjoy… However, in the mean time, I will modify, purge, merge, tweak, tweak, and tweak some more other people’s winamp skins, and use them as basis for my work, sooooooo that only means, that my works are just modified works of other people, and clearly, not entirely mine… I will credit those people who I will base my skins from(mainly kazasou).. Thank you…. o/

Importing Skins
To use the skins that are posted in this blog, firstly you have to extract the RAR file that you have downloaded from my blog (Just right click on the RAR file and choose “Extract Here”).
If you don’t know how to extract RAR file or you don’t have the application to extract RAR file download one of these programs:
Now, you have to copy the extracted folder to your Rainmeter skin archive. If you use the default installation, it will be located in C:Program FilesRainmeterSkins or if you are using Rainmeter version 1.0 or above, the default installation will be on My DocumentsRainmeterSkin. Otherwise, right click the Rainmeter program in the Start Menu and choose Properties->Open File Location. If you have found your Rainmeter skin archive, copy the extracted folder to the skin archive and your skin is now ready to be used. To use the skin, right click again on the Rainmeter logo, click “Refresh”, and then right click again on the Rainmeter logo one more time, and highlight “Config”. The new skin that you’ve extracted is now available to be used. Enjoy!

You don’t have a tutorial anywhere on how to build these, do you? I am looking to learn how to skin Winamp.
A really good place to start is go to the Winamp website. If I remember right, they have a tutorial that can be downloaded from there. It was a little bit of a “PAIN” for me @ first but I got over that pretty quickly.
Have fun
